The Cattle Camp project has implemented in Maharashtra for the purpose of providing fodder and water to the animals in the situation of drought. The drought has created severe condition in Beed and all Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Due to the drought, in many villages lack access to drinking water for humans and animals too. Persistent drought has endangered human life as well as animal’s life in Beed district. It’s time to sell the buffalo, cow, bull, goat and sheep to butcher. Seeing such a bad situation came a stirring feeling in the human heart. That’s why we decided to start a cattle camp with full facility to the animals in kaij dist of Beed. In 2016 and 2019, when the drought condition has created in Beed district, we has started cattle camp project in Kaij district of Beed, Maharashtra. It had set up a Cattle Camp on the land of twenty five acres.
We have created shades for every animal and animal’s owners as well as we provided fodder and water tank to every animal. In the camp we have create a fodder depot too. We have also provided light and toilet facility for every persons in the camp. In the Cattle Camp, total 6785 animals ware cared with the fodder and water. Every Sunday we organize animal checkups camp for the animals under the guidance of District veterinary office, in this camp we has checked and vaccinated to 6,476 animals.
We are celebrated every nations and rural festivals in the cattle camp. In order to alleviate the depression caused by drought among the farmers, we hold mass culture programs to every Tuesday and Friday. As well as we organized various social and cultural programmes for the development of human hearts. Every Sunday we organized guidance programme to young farmers and students. In cattle camp we organized an Annchatralaya for the purpose of providing food and water to the drought-hit farmers and rural worker. We are daily provided 923 families breakfast in the morning and diners in afternoon and lunch in evening. Approximately we served to 45000 people.
